Kheppera specializes in organising no frills backpacking trips, in particular to places seldom covered by tours. For those willing to step outside traditional tourism boundaries, whether it be having a Yurt stay in the summer pastures of Kyrgyzstan, trekking in various National Reserves in Australia, or travelling by a felucca down the River Nile, Kheppera's style of travel provides an original and intimate opportunity for all those wanting to explore true adventure travel.

Our unique small group have enabled travellers to go off the beaten trek for an authentic personal experience. For example, joining the Tajiks when grazing their sheep in their summer pasture jailoos or travelling with the locals in a public bus instead of peering through the window of a tour bus. From challenging adventures to cultural and historical journeys, Kheppera has a trip for everyone who wants to add excitement and fun in their life. With our backup support team and past experience, we prepare your trip to make it as exciting, fun and yet as safe as it can be!

With good equipment, great emergency support team and a pooled fund backpack budget system*, we provide you the opoprtunity to learn about the local culture while ensuring comfort, safety and flexibility during your trip. Its like having your own tour guide while backpacking. No more short weekend trips, touristy crap, or immaculate guidebooks! With a small group aided by our fantastic guides, we will travel by foot, car, plane, or camels and horses (whatever transport it takes) to experience and live the life in the country of your choice!

For your convenience, Kheppera has also provided specific country information on the "Countries" page. This contains relevant information such as estimated exchange rates, calling codes and pictures!

1. Upon deposit you will be confirmed a place in the group of the respective country of your choice.
2. Trips longer than a month will come under the Budgeted Funds System* to enhance flexibility within the trip.

*The Budgeted Funds (less setup fees) will be pooled together and managed on a contribution basis. This amount is calculated based on a tried and proven backpacking itinerary. However you now also have the flexibility to decide where, when and what you wanna see! No more rushing with a big tour group! Everyone will have a more engaging trip because your say is important!
